That's not how you test an alternator, you're supposed to provide a 12v to the coils to energize it 🤣

i think its the aftermarket suspension in this model if the ecm does not have the air ride height from the air suspension then it limits to 80 for 'safety' 😉 so if you only replaced the suspension you still have the electronics which dont receive the correct information from ride height sensor and will not let you go past 80 i think there are youtube videos on this fix for people who installed their own suspensions and you should look for these. This is my guess to fix. scan the car with a scanner and get the fault codes from the air suspension module then troubleshoot and repair what is going wrong. but its better to see if anyone online is more informed and has actual instructions, not vague ideas. I hate electrics in cars man i feel you... best of luck from the UK to fix this issue! Ive only seen one cadillac in my life, they are rare here!

You talk kak you need to but 12v battery on positive and one on negative then you pit your voltages meter with the batter +-then run the altenytor then it must show you firts 12v+- when run the altenytor it must show 13.80 to 14.10 max not lower than 13.60 then wont garge the batter..you are stupid..yes he is doing it right but must use batter then tester must show 12v..how the fuck test altenytor with 38...or so stupid
